Los Angeles County Supervisor, Fourth District, Janice Hahn awarded a Commendation to Maricela Gray on the same day. The Commendation reads,

In recognition of dedicated service to the affairs of the community and for the civic pride demonstrated by numerous contributions for the benefit of all the residents of Los Angeles County.

The special recognitions were presented at an International Women’s Day event held by San Pedro Mental Health Services.

“I am honored to receive these commendations on behalf of California and of the County of Los Angeles, particularly from the first Latina to represent the 44th District, Representative Barragán,” said Maricela Gray. “Supervisor Hahn has always been a great supporter of House of Hope and I am grateful to be recognized on International Women’s Day by two amazing women.”
